Earth Day is an annual day on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Earth Day is observed on April 22 each year. The April 22 date was designated as International Mother Earth Day by a consensus resolution adopted by the United Nations in 2009. - Start composting
- Ride your bike
- Cook a special Earth Day meal using locally produced foods.
- Buy or make Earth-friendly cleaning products.
- Clean up litter along roadways, etc.
- Reduce, reuse, and recycle all day.
- Encourage co-workers to use less papertowels when washing their hands
- Turn off lights when not in use.
- Make nature crafts at school or home
- Have some shopping to day? How about doing it at a garage sale instead of retail store?
Doesn't matter what you do. Just do something and even better, try to keep it going all year round!
